STB Systems was an OEM graphics card and TV tuner manufacturer. During the mid 1990s, several of their PCI TV card designs, based upon the Bt848 and Bt878, were rebranded by OEMs such as Gateway. STB was purchased by 3Dfx Interactive in 1998, becoming the manufacturing arm for 3Dfx's own retail brand, as well as continuing production for the OEM market.
