It is currently unsupported under Linux.
Overview
Components Used
- Samsung TECC1149FG01A (tuner module) [1] (This URL does not work, and searching Samsung's website has been unfruitful. An email has been sent to Samsung Semiconductor regarding the module.)
- Unknown tuner IC...possibly a Xceive XC3028. If so, Xceive XC3028 has support in Linux as of kernel 2.6.25 (from Wikipedia article regarding chip).
- ATI Theater 312 (digital demodulator) [2]
- ATI Theater 650 Pro (analog demodulator, A/V decoder, mpeg2 encoder, PCI bridge)
- Samsung DRAM (32MB ?)
- 2 x Pericom PI5C16211AE (24-Bit Bus Exchange Switch, found on the backside of the PCB adjacent to the PCI connector) [3]
AMD's Driver
The Windows driver is available for download from AMD's website.
Whether XC3028 is Used
Suspicions on whether it uses an Xceive XC3028 date back to 2007. A post was made on the linux-dvb mailing list. The TV Wonder HD 600 USB uses an XC3028LCQ chip.
