EMPIA Technology, founded in 2002, is a Taiwanese based semiconductor design house that specialises in, amongst other things, the development of Embedded Multifunction Peripheral Imaging Appliances (EMPIA) System-on-Chip (SOC)'s intended for the PC peripheral and consumer electronics markets.
