The OSDPIP plugin provides a picture in picture. That means it show another channel in s small OSD window above the normal screen.

Since one DVB card can only receive channel of one transponder, a second card for more freedom is recommended.

Software requirements

• ffmpeg 0.4.8

Installation

For the installation of ffmpeg

cd $SOURCEDIR
tar xvzf ffmpeg-<VERSION>.tar.gz
ln -s ffmpeg-<VERSION> ffmpeg
cd ffmpeg
./configure --prefix=/usr/local --enable-shared
make
make install
ldconfig

Problems

• vdr 1.6.0 Patch osdpipdxr3.diff for vdr-1.6.0, osdpip-0.0.10 and dxr3 card
