Which versions do you use ? femon works in my envoroment wel with softdevice and a USB DVB-T receiver. femon-0.9.3, softdevice (cvs + 0.2.0, and other versions), vdr-1.3.34 .
I'm did not remember that it was necessary to configure femon.

I have problems related to femon as well (Nova-T + DXR3), femons OSD doesn't fit on my tv screen. It's cut off to the left, right, and at the bottom.
Other players' OSD fit well. Is that about femon or do I have to change display preferences like 4:3, letterbox or others? I have a standard tv, no 16:9 schnickschnack or similar ;-)

That's pretty weird as femon's osd width is fixed to 600 pixels. If that really doesn't fit on your screen, you'll be missing big chunks of actual DVB video too :)

I compared it now with the image on

and had to recognize that the OSD isn't cut off but starts at the false horizontal position. It seems to start a few pixels to the right from the middle, goes until the right border and the rest which extends to the right starts at the left border, going almost to the middle.
Thus I experimented with the horizontal Offset, but neither -50 nor +50 helps, I think I had to use something about 240 pixels, which extends the possible maximum of +/-50.
Below are the settings regarding to femon from my setup.conf, and further below the complete setup.conf - maybe someone could have a look 'cause I think it might be a matter of misconfiguration? That would be very nice indeed!
I'm using vdr-1.3.31, nova-t + dxr3 (adv-chip). As I mentioned before, this is no problem with all OSD's but only when using femon-0.9.1

The horizontal offset is intended only for minor tweaking and normally it should be very close to zero.

Just tried your settings and the whole OSD was shown (although not centered because of your offset setting -50). No problems here!

I'm using FF-card here (vdr-1.3.35, femon-0.9.5pre), so the problem might be related to DXR3 and OpenRaw() method... my advise is to uninstall the femon plugin and all your problems are gone :)

vdr 1.3.35 (but any other version worked just fine) femon 0.9.4 (but any other yadda yadda) dxr3 equivalent to 0.2.3
