I am trying to use softdevice with vdr. When I use xv output the picture is something like colorless. I think i have a problem with colorspace. when I use the xine plugin everything works well with xv out.
I also couldn't get working softdevice DFB out. Any made it working with Nvidia FX5200?
BTW I am using Nvidia FX5200 and vdr 1.3.42 and softdevice 0.2.2 on Gentoo 2005.r1.

Did you get any other DFB program working with your card?
Hi,
Im using nvidia GeForce 6800 LE and TVOUT. Not using DFB though. I'm using gentoo (w/latest kernel) also, with vdr-1.3.43 and tested softdevice from cvs (feb'06). I haven't seen those problems. media-video/nvidia-kernel-1.0.8178-r2 media-video/nvidia-settings-1.0.20051122-r3 media-video/nvidia-kernel-1.0.8178-r3
But... I've seen same problem when I run (almost) same config (older nvidia) in another PC acting as client using vdr-to-vdr streamdev + softdevice, and I've been told to increase brightness and saturation in the softdevice plugin config, but didn't have time to test it.
It's curious though that If I run tvtime before I launch vdr +softdevice in this client PC then the problem disappears :-)
