Has anyone done any work (or written a plugin) to update the standard OSD?
I've not done this yet, but see you can change font size and colours using themes, but I was thinking more than this.
I've now replaced my TV with a big high-res flat screen that could fit way more text etc on the screen.
Anyone feel the same?
Hi!
Yes there are some VDR-Skin-Plugins around. For example mine at http://andreas.vdr-developer.org/enigmang
What output device do you use? You should be aware that e.g. Full-Featured DVB-S cards have limited OSD capabilities (~90kb). So hires hi-color OSD will be a problem here.
