a little bit off-topic, but.... I think you mean with "actual" the currently used device? But "actual" doesn`t mean "aktuell" in german. The right translation is "wirklich, tatsachlich, eigentlich." Maybe ActualDevice()) should be renamed to CurrentDevice()) to avoid misunderstanding.

It does mean the "actual" device, i.e. "the one that is actually used to get the signal". Or in German: "Das Device, welches tatsächlich/wirklich/eigentlich das Signal liefert". As opposed to the "primary device", which is always used to display the signal, but doesn't necessarily "actually" deliver the signal.
