I don't find __user in osd.h, don't find video.h, and suppose that it was videodir.h but I can't find __user in it. I search also only for "user" and I found nothing... Which version of vdr are using? I'm trying vdr 1.3.20

I think HGM meant that you should set -D__user for all files except vor osd.h and videodir.h..

Oh, sorry, you have to check the includes (in my case -> /vdr/DVB/linux/include/linux/dvb/osd.h and video.h )
Which version of vdr are using?
The declaration is part of the dvb-drivers, not vdr !
I'm trying vdr 1.3.20

Nope, Sascha, i remove the __user from osd.h and video.h from the dvb-driver includes and everything is fine. That -D__user never helped my compiling VDR..
