Without the LNBsharing patch it could easily happen, that the user zaps to vertically polarized channel while recording at hor.

But that patch is probably only needed with multiple card fed by the same lnb. I don't plan to connect more than one card to the steerable dish, I think that would be a nightmare ;-) Everything I said only applies to a single card setup. If I ever need another card (which I doubt) I'll connect it to a separate, fixed, dish and use the sourcecaps patch.
