VDR ISDB-T support

Hello everyone! I'm from Argentina, and up to last month I've been using VDR 1.7.262 with an ISDB-T USB adapter. It works really good, but the last week I've been trying to upgrade to VDR 2.2 and I've found a problem with ISDB-T cards: they are not supported. VDR locking up

Occasionally my signal drops out (haven't looked into it yet), and it causes VDR to completely freeze and become defunct/zombie. That locks up the drivers and the only way to resolve it is by rebooting. No core file gets created. Does anyone know how to prevent the lock-up in the first place? Could it be some kind of leak from the looping (see log clip below)? Here's a clip of the log when it happens. [Patch] Allow HD Screenshots with plugin screenshot

Hello, here is a patch to allow full screen (hd) screenshots with plugin screenshot-0.0.16. ( i'm use this source : https://github.com/jowi24/vdr-screenshot ) * set setup limits to 768x576 to MAXOSDWIDTHxMAXOSDHEIGHT * allow image size 0x0 to get current video full screen. * set default output path from /tmp to cPlugin::CacheDirectory * remove unused Setup::iUserKey * and fix a typo in a osd message Best regards, Andreas

The changes since version 2.3.7: - Updated links in the INSTALL file (thanks to Chris Mayo). - Fixed detecting whether a CAM replies to queries, which didn't work on some systems since the implementation of RI_HOST_CONTROL (reported by Daniel Scheller). - Added some missing locks when calling functions from cStatus or cSkin*, and added some text to status.h and skins.h, explaining the locking situation when such functions are called. - Fixed a possible crash in cStateLockLog. - Updated the Italian OSD texts (thanks to Diego Pierotto). - Now skipping a leading '/' in AddDirectory(), to avoid double slashes (reported by Chris Mayo). - Fixed drawing very long menu titles in the LCARS skin (reported by Matthias Senzel). - Timers are now linked to EPG events even if they are inactive. By default Events that are linked to inactive timers are marked with 'I' and 'i', depending on whether the timer would record the entire Event or only part of it. The function cSkinDisplayMenu::SetItemEvent() now has an additional parameter named TimerActive, which indicates whether the timer that would record this event (if any) is active. A plugin may react on this when displaying a menu line for an event. The old version of cSkinDisplayMenu::SetItemEvent() (without the TimerActive parameter) is still there for backwards compatibility. It may be removed in a future version, so plugin authors should switch to the new one. - Now using readdir() instead of readdir_r(), if GLIBC version 2.24 or newer is used (suggested by Frank Neumann). - Added a note to the log, indicating that no further invalid lock sequences will be reported until VDR is restarted. - Whenever a change is made to the recordings in the video directory, the SVDRP command UPDR is now sent to all peer VDRs, so that they will update their recordings list. This is especially useful if one VDR mounts the video directory of an other one into a subdirectory. - SVDRP peering can now be limited to the default SVDRP host (see MANUAL for details). Have fun! Hello, here is a patch with a improved UI of plugin boblight-0.0.7. ( boblight-improve-ui.patch.gz ) I think this set of texts describes the parameter setup / menu better. Sorry if this has taken so long! The server hardware was broken and the complete chassis had to be replaced. The server drives were OK, so I only had to change the MAC address and it was up and running again. Thanks for your patience! Tobias

OT: problem with Technotrend ct2-4400

Hi, I've trying to get that stick working. Driver loads, firmware is available but I can't find any channels using w_scan. The following output from dmesg seems the problem or not??? si2157 7-0060: unknown chip version Si210-si2157 7-0060: unknown chip version Si 210- utput comes after trying to tune or scan for channels.
