Crash on first start without setup.conf

Hi! (I'm still on 1.7.19 so forgive me if this already has been solved...) [PATCH] random vdr-sxfe xvdr+tcp:// restart failures

Hi! I finally debugged this and found the read() looking for the initial "DATA\r\n" was sometimes gobbling up too much, i.e. the start of the first ts packet when the server was sending it fast enough which caused the demuxer to be out of sync and interpreting parts of the ts packet as header with a way too big data size, and that caused vdr-sxfe to bail out. compile error vompserver

Hallo, ich habe vor kurzem auf openSuSE 12.1 geupdated und wollte jetzt die aktuelle Version des VDR mit meinen Plugins kompilieren. Leider bekomme ich beim vompserver immer eine Fehlermeldung. Da ich keine Ahnung vom Programmieren habe, hoffe ich hier ein paar Tipps zu bekommen. Even though *I* use it in my productive environment. I strongly recommend that you only use it under controlled conditions and for testing and debugging. The changes since version 1.7.21: - Fixed scaling subtitles in case the primary device's GetVideoSize() function doesn't return actual values (thanks to Luca Olivetti). - The DiSEqC codes are now copied in the call to cDiseqc::Execute(). - VDR now supports "Satellite Channel Routing" (SCR) according to EN50494 (based on the "unicable" patch from Lars Hanisch). This obsoletes the LNBSHARE patch. Hi, What is the situation with the syncearly patch for vdr-xine? Does it help with vdr 1.7.x ? Is there a version of the patch that applies cleanly on vdr 1.7.21 ? Is it recommended?

Streamdev script to stream audio only?

Hi! I need a mp3 audio stream of live tv channels.. I tried to do it with ffmpeg, but it doesn't work properly. No data is transferred, I guess ffmpeg doesn't like to write to a fifo? Any ideas?
