TechnoTrend T-3000 Hybrid works under VDR?

Hi, Anybody tested DVB-T TechnoTrend T-3000 Hybrid under VDR? I want to order two of this card for VDR installation, and I don't know if it will works well with VDR or not. Sincerely yours. A. Hoseini.

priorities < 0

Hi, i have a question regarding receivers with priority < 0. I have taken a look at cDvbDevice::ProvidesChannel (1.7.15). When priority is < 0 hasPriority gets set to true even if there are other receivers for a different channel. In this case NeedsDetachReceivers is set to false. If cDvbDevice::ProvidesChannel is called with a priority < 0, then the Channel parameter has to be the Channel currently receiving on the device. Why: If the cDvbDevice::ProvidesChannel is called with priority < 0 and a channel other than the current receiving, needsDetachReceived would be kept to false, the receiver would be added the the list of receivers, but the channel doesn't get switched. Or does the Channel doesn't matter if the priority is < 0 ? My question: is my assumption correct ? Regards, Rainer

[PATCH] Add support for shared frondends cards

The attached patch (for VDR 1.7.16) implements support for multituner cards where only one tuner can be active at one time, the so called shared frontend cards (notably the HVR-4000 and its derivatives). Currently VDR tries to open all the frontends on startup, with the result that the first frontend (usually DVB-S) works, but the second (usually DVB-T) fails with "Device or resource busy" error. The patch adds a new configuration option to setup.conf, called "OnDemand"; it defaults to 0 (exactly the current behaviour). If set to 1, tuners will be appropriately opened and closed when switching channels. I've tested it with the vnsi plugin and XBMC. I'd be happy if someone could review it and tell me if there is anything to correct and if it is possible to mainline it. Alberto

Thanks a lot for implementing Arabic Language, Klaus. Unfortunately I dont know any Arabic channels broadcasting Arabic EPG on those sats,,, I guess they are only on Nilesat 7w and Badr 26e. But using external Xmltv importer(like rytec xmltv for OSN) JSC sports on 13e has Arabic EPG. Regards Sami

The commands DiSEqC-1.2 gives the plugin rotor. LNB B,C,D (DiSEqC-1.0) is a fixed dishes. If take a clean channels list and diseqc.conf not contain an explicit SatName for LNB A, the previously tuned channels will not have a lock. Accordingly, the scanner doesn't work too. Need help. It is necessary that in this case vdr will not looking for the SatName in LNB A.

Euro History channels - channels.conf

Hi, I wonder if someone would share their 13E/19.2E channels.conf entries with me. All I ever watch is History and I lost pretty much all of them in the past month or so. First I could no longer get EPG and picture on SkyItalia History and History+1. New channels appended to the end of channels.conf registered no replacements. What I usually do in that situation is visit linowsat.de and compare their VDR settings with mine. Unfortunately after years of excellent service linowsat.de no longer serves those. Here are the channels I lost, that is I can no longer get EPG or picture on them: History;SkyItalia:11843:vC34:S13.0E:27500:2478+2560:2479=ita,2480=und:0:919,93B,9CD:3527:64511:5600:0 History +1;SkyItalia:11977:hC34:S13.0E:27500:2439:2440=ita,2441=und:0:919,93B,9CD:8123:64511:6300:0 The History Channel;NetMed:11938:hC34:S13.0E:27500:512:650=eng:0:604:7103:318:6100:0 HISTORY;CYFRA +:10719:vC34:S13.0E:27500:168:112=pol,113=eng:0:100:4409:318:11000:0 Thank you for your time. -- Adrian C.
