Hi, I just found an error when I use the keys 4 or 7 for me to move in the mpeg2 stream (vdr-17.9 with vdr-xine 0.9.3). Clear(1785)! Hi all, this is my first post on the mailing list....then hello all. Well now i explain my problem. I'm italian and i use vdr about from 2-3 month....and it work very fine for me. Excellent software. On my HTPC i've installed vdr 1.7.9 with 2 tuners: a TT 3650 CI (DVB-S/S2) and a TerraTec Cinergy DT USB XS Diversity (2xDVB-T). restricting root of xineliboutput mediaplayer?

Hello, Does xineliboutput support this? The Problem: the Kids shouldn't be able to view or modify anything in the system. E. G. /media should contain all content and it shouldn't be possible to change to /. Any ideas how to do this? Regards Halim

rotor plugin puzzling question

I think the rotor plugin is a bit of a mess now and the latest version (1.5) is a step backwards with no transponder scan facility. A clever friend of mine has doctored the previous version to work with vdr-1.7.9, to still scan transponders and better still to scan C-band transponders. Rotor switches diseqc off it appears and VDR defaults to Ku settings so all c-band appears to be "out of range"....anyone else have this problem? Mike

Hi I've been running logical volume management (LVMs) on my production VDR box for years, but recently had a drive failure. To be honest, in the ~20 years I've had PCs in the house, this is the first time a drive failed! Anyway, I've bought 3x 1.5 TB SATA disks which I'd like to put into a software (mdadm) raid 5 array. Hi, When I make a mark with the 0 key if I want to move it by pressing 4 or 6 it works when the stream is the H264 but when it's mpeg2 the mark moves but the image remains static. Regards Senufo
