source caps probelm!

Hi all, I should use sourcecaps in my vdr box and because I didn't find proper patch for vdr 1.4.0, I've used BigPatch instead. But the problem is when I add SourceCaps = ... lines in my setup.conf, and then I restart vdr, it automatically deletes this line and nothing happens. What should I do? Thanks. John.

Which locale variables influence VDR?

Hi all, there's an open bug report for the Gentoo VDR ebuilds regarding locale vars: http://bugs.gentoo.de/view.php?id=445 Up till now everything gets set to POSIX and afterwards LC_COLLATE gets set to whatever the user requests in the init script's config file. My suggestion was to make LANG accessible in the config file as well, because both are mentioned in the VDR docs. Is there any final wisdom on which locale vars influence VDR? Regards Sebastian

Burn plugin permissions problem

I can create DVD ISO files using vdr-burn-0.1.0-pre20 ok but only if vdr is run as root. If I run vdr without root privelage DVD ISO creation fails at the start. My /tmp folder and ISO destination folder have the appropriate access rights. The burn shell scripts are marked executable and can be read by others. Any one know what is wrong here?
