Hello I still try to write a Plugin which a background receiving of data. For example I have 3 devices. I want the last device to receive data only from "Transponder A" with "PID X". This should be a very high prio. The user should tune as he likes. Now I want to receive "Transponder B" with "PID Y", but with a low Prio. So the user don't observe it. The low prio receiver should be detached if a user need the device. The Problem is that the user action don't detach the receiver. How can I … [View More]implement it? Hi, is there a chance to get a new member function like bool cMenuEditStrItem::InEditMode() { return pos > -1; } that returns the edit state on an item? I need this to set different color buttons for an edit item depending on its edit state. Recording whole mux and ripping it ...

Hi gurus I would like to record multiple PIDs (2 x each: video, sound, subtitles and super text) from one MPEG2-TS stream and now I'm wondering how to do that. The stream include 5 channels information about 22 Mbps and I doun't want to record all of that because I only need 2 channels information. So is't possible to rip "on-the-fly" requested PIDs and make that kind of MPEG2-TS format. Sorry about offtopic but from vdr wiki I found that there is a way to improve the stability of SNR and STR readings in vdr but didn't found relevant information to go further with the voltage moding. If somebody can give me a link I will be gratefull Regards Paul

The corect way to stop VDR

I am using vdr 1.3.37 on full featured thechnisat Rev 1.3 card. Drivers are from kernel 2.6.14. I have another digital receiver connected on the loop output of the ss1 board. After closing vdr by ctrl-c in console the ss1 in not powering anymore the LNB leaving the other receiver to do that but is not allowing the high frequency signal to pass trough (I presume ) since the other receiver is indicating bad signal. Hello all, is anyone else having trouble with teletext subtitles? I am using - VDR 1.3.37 - ttxtsubs 0.0.5 - DVB subtitles 0.3.8 - a bunch of other plugins, including autosort, channelscan, dvd, femon, loadepg, mp3/mplayer, osdteletext, remote and text2skin. - DVB-S full-feature card (Hauppauge) with conax cam and Canal Digital smartcard. Analog Plugin --ANYONE using it and its working?

I have a Hauppauge WinTV along with my DVB card and I would like to get it working with VDR. It works find in conjunction with my DVB card in Mythtv but I prefer VDR for it's stability. After finding some patches on the German WIKI pages for the plugin, I finally got it to compile. "filing" a channel into the appropriate group.

Hi, I have 3329 entries, subdivided into 25 channel groups in my channels.conf. The last group is of course the "New channels" group. Every now and then I zap through it and file the new channels into the appropriate groups. Of course, it is extremely hard to move a channel from position 3329 to any position in the first 24 groups. Hello, any chance to initiate (from client) a recording via SVDRP on a server? For this, some information such as channel number, time/date should be parsed from a highlighted entry (submenu "program") to SVDRP. Is that in general possible (maybe via the unused blue key)? uwe
