SemiOT: vdr, suse, aver 771

I have an aver 771 (DVB-T) that I'd like to integrate into my vdr box actually running on Suse 8.1 and a Nexus. I read somewhere that tha aver card has better support in kernel 2.6 so I'm ready to update in-place to Suse 9.2. Please stop me if you think that the update will have no benefit or give me some clues on better integrating the Aver card. Thank you, Francesco

Hello, I have discovered that France Television is free to air in DVB on Atlantic Bird 5W. Does anyone have an initial tuning file for this satellite please? TIA Tony

Anyone patched the Radio plugin for latest vdr?

Hi, My brother was just asking whether it was possible to show an image for radio channels and that led me to the radio plugin. Unfortunately, this hasn't been updated for a while and uses the old "2 APID" interfaces rather than the arrays. Has anyone patched this already or shall I have a go at it?! Cheers, Laz

VDR tuning to wrong channel

This mornig I found strange behaviour: VDR claimed to show & record Channel 4, but program was from Ch 1. And recording from yesterday was also similar way. I tested bit more, and found out that if I first tune to Ch 3, which is on same transponder as 4, I can get Ch4 working. But if I have tuned to Ch1 or Ch2, after it change to Ch4 shows picture of Ch1, but claims to be on Ch4. Dual Card causing recording problems (Dr Who)

I have just started having problems recording from Terrestrial TV. I have two cards (TT-Full Featured card and Nova Budget card). I have been using VDR successfully for well over a year now and all has been well. Recently I started having errors "vdr[9978]: ERROR: skipped 152 bytes to sync on TS packet on device 2".
