xine plugin showing wrong osd color

Hi all, I have compiled xine plugin 0.7.6 against vdr 1.3.34. I am very pleased with it, using xxmc xine extension, and with geforce fx 5200, vdr doesnt get over 4% of cpu usage. Of course, I have an issue, not to serious, but annoying... OSD isnt displayed with the right colors... blue is red, red is blue, green is yellow, yellow is light blue.... If I play with my remote, after a while, then colors are suddenly correct. Any idea ? Thanks and regards, Eric.

I found this in vdrportal: http://www.vdrportal.de/board/thread.php?threadid=34456&sid= But it is important to edit not only transfer.c, but also dvbosd.c !

Fix: no second APID or Dolby DIgital in live view with VDR 1.3.37

The changes to CA handling in VDR 1.3.37 have broken the second APID and live Dolby Digital on encrypted channels. xine plugin sync problems on analog channels

Hi all, I am having some problem with vdr xine and analogtv plugin. I have a client-server vdr installation based on vdr 1.3.34, xine 0.7.6 plugin, when I select a DVB channel I have no problems but if I select an analog channel (stream generated by analogtv plugin 0.9.37 with ivtv 0.4.0 and PVR 150 card) I had some sync problem: here is the xine log: audio jump, diff=-51840 audio_out: inserting 27627 0-frames to fill a gap of 51815 pts video jump bad_frame video jump video jump bad_frame video_out: throwing away image with pts 653020 because it's too old (diff : 6489 9). 200 frames delivered, 14 frames skipped, 1 frames discarded video_out: throwing away image with pts 2753839 because it's too old (diff : 418 6). bad_frame bad_frame video jump bad_frame bad_frame audio jump, diff=-51850 audio_out: inserting 27655 0-frames to fill a gap of 51866 pts video jump bad_frame video jump bad_frame bad_frame 200 frames delivered, 7 frames skipped, 1 frames discarded video_out: throwing away image with pts 5052089 because it's too old (diff : 4544). 200 frames delivered, 0 frames skipped, 1 frames discarded bad_frame audio jump, diff=-45370 audio_out: inserting 24197 0-frames to fill a gap of 45382 pts video jump video jump video jump bad_frame video_out: throwing away image with pts 6157260 because it's too old (diff : 54139). Hello list, I'm glad to announce a new version of the filebrowser plugin, you can get it from http://www.stud.uni-karlsruhe.de/~uqg8/vdr/filebrowser/vdr-filebrowser-0.0.… There are a few bug fixes, some usability enhancements and new features, just take a look at the changelog: - Add a flag to execute commands synchronously (s) and/or without opening a menu (b) - Possibility to remove commands by precending them with a minus sign in order.conf - Add a cCommand that shows a menu with other commands - Add sources.conf and a possibility to switch sources - Possiblity to determine whether a command matches via script - when file pattern starts with '!', try to call the remainer, replace %f, %! and %% - Always use single quotes for quoting filenames (don't forget to remove your quotes in commands.conf!) - Update threads' stati in thread list asynchrously - Fixed a bug that prevented patterns with full paths (eg. /mnt/*) For people not knowing what's this all about, a readme file is provided on http://www.stud.uni-karlsruhe.de/~uqg8/vdr/filebrowser Your comments, bug reports and patches would be appreciated, regards Holger

A backup of the old file is stored as epgsearch.conf.bak. If you switch back to an older version you have to move the backup file back to epgsearch.conf. - new feature 'avoid repeats' for search timers, aka 'done' feature (please read the README before using it!). A special thanks to Mike Constabel (vejoun@vdrportal) for many hours of testing and bug reports. * timer preview * recognition of broken recordings * fuzzy event comparision - the menu of search results for a search timer with 'avoid repeats' has an additional mode for key 'blue' to preview the timers, that will be programmed with it. - new setup option to display channels without EPG in 'What's on...', idea from 'Nordlicht's EPG plugin' - new setup option to show channel separators in 'What's on...', idea from 'Nordlicht's EPG plugin' - new feature 'Delete recordings after ... days'. This removes a recording automatically after the given days. It's a nice thing for e.g. news recordings (like Tagesschau), that are only interesting for a few days - the timer summary now contains additional information about the event: event title, subtitle (if present) at the top, the name and ID of the search timer, that triggered the timer, and also the recording channel (after the real summary) at the bottom - the summary of timers that are manually programmed now also contains info about title, subtitle (if present) and the recording channel - 'Execute' in searches menu has been replaced with 'Actions' that list a menu consisting of * Execute search * Use as search timer on/off * Trigger search timer update * Show recordings done You can also use the short keys to trigger the corresponding action without opening this menu - introduced a logfile (default file is plugin-configdir/epgsearch.log, but can be specified with commandline option '-l /path/to/logfile'. Commandline option '-v n' specifies the verbose level of the logfile. n=0 means no logging, allowed values are n=0(default),1(standard),2(extended),3(for debug). - setup has now a default recording directory entry, that is used in manual timer programming. It supports also entries like '%Category%~%Genre%'. lazy awk skript for missing phrases

Hi there, to get list of missing phases, I hacked a simple awk script. At first: cd /pathTopluginSrc/ mkdir i18n-c for i in `ls | grep -v "-" ` ; do cp ${i}/*i18n.c* i18n-c/${i}-i18n.c; done cd i18n-c then for i in `ls *.c `; do awk -F\" -f test.awk $i >> tr-fra.csv ; done You have to set the `lang' var to your language regarding the langarray eg. german to 1, sewdish to 12 and so on. ist is not very handy but it does its job ;) regards movimax

AC3 in transfer mode doesn`t need a buffer reserve since firmware 2620. (o.k., if you use the old 2.4 driver, you will have to compile it with new firmware...) My suggestion is to turn off the buffer reserve by default in 1.3.38 Or maybe it is possible to solve this with a new parameter in setup.conf? Could vdr detect if live AC3 is possible and set the best parameter (UseBufferreserve=1 or 0) by itself? Just an idea.
