Hi all,
Please reply to this post with topics that you want to discuss during the upcoming media summit in San Jose.
I'll collect all topics and turn it into a proper agenda.
We currently have a one-day summit, but if we have a lot of topics we might add a second. Several core developers will also be available on Friday, so that is an option.
Thanks!
Hans

From my side, I'd like to discuss the next steps with regards to the media controller support for DVB. Basically: https://www.mail-archive.com/linux-media@vger.kernel.org/msg83883.html https://www.mail-archive.com/linux-media@vger.kernel.org/msg83884.html
In summary:
1) dynamic creation/removal of pipelines 2) change media_entity_pipeline_start to also define the final entity 3) how to setup pipelines that also envolve audio and DRM 4) how to lock the media controller pipeline between enabling a pipeline and starting it, in order to avoid race conditions
Also, as discussed at the ML, it would likely be interesting to discuss MC and ALSA, if someone from ALSA could go there.
Regards, Mauro

I plan on giving a short update on some of my ongoing projects: support for requests (aka configuration stores), removing the duplicate video ops in favor of the subdevice pad ops, colorspace improvements.
Estimated time: 30-60 minutes (fairly flexible).
Regards,
Hans

I'd like to discuss subdev hotplug in the context of both FPGA dynamic reconfiguration and project Ara (http://www.projectara.com/).
