[vdr] analogtv, dvb-card but not dish?

Hallo,

i trying the following set up:

-vdr 1.2.1, actual analogtv plugin, 
-one bttv card and one dvb card
-but i cannot connect a dish, just using the dvb-card for OSD+Replay
-EPG from nextepg for programming the timer etc.

I see the following problems:

-vdr/dvb tries to sync to a channel, but can't because there is no signal ->
high sysload!
-vdr should only record from analogtv and never from the primary (dvb) card

How can i address those? Which configuration options need to be set or
do i need to change the source code somewhere to prevent channel sync probs?

Did i forgot something else?
