[vdr] Question to diff patching

Hi all,

I have a simple question to diff patching. Looking at a diff
file with a Texteditor the lines are marked with either a
plus or a minus. Are my following assumptions correct:

The patcher searches for the lines as a string, when it finds
a matching string the following parameters are used:

A "-" means this line is removed from the original file.

A "+" means this line is added to the original file.

Correct?
