Normally not. If you go to walmart you'll get both at around 80 Euros.

Depends on what you want. With a QUAD LNB you can have only 4 receivers 
(digital and/or analogue). With a QUATTRO and a multiswitch you can have 
as many receivers as your switch supports.
BTW: I've seen 8x LNBs with integrated switch....
