but on http://www.hauppauge.de/prod_nexus_s.htm you can read:
| ... Mit dem optional erhältlichen Common Interface entschlüsseln Sie

which means:
| ... With the optional Common Interface module you will be able to decode
| Pay-TV-channels ...
