[linux-dvb] number of read only users (frontend)

Hi,

dvb_register_frontend limits the number of users and writers to 1.
Shouldn't some more read only users be allowed?

It would be nice to have the possibility to run a status monitoring tool
in the background while using another application to set up the
frontend.
