ftp with wget.

Hi,

I'm having a lot of trouble when trying to receive anything via wget.

This is what I try

# export ftp_proxy=194.177.34.36:8080
# wget -c ftp://ftp.sunsite.auc.dk/disk1/ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/redhat-6.2/iso/zoot-i386.iso

This is output

ftp://ftp.sunsite.auc.dk:21/disk1/ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/redhat-6.2/iso/zoot-i386.iso
           => `zoot-i386.iso'

Proxy request sent, awaiting response... 502 Bad Gateway
14:55:01 ERROR 502: Bad Gateway.

Can anyone help me or try it out.

I'm using my proxy to deliver FAST inet to the rest of my network, and
found out that 'download accelerator plus' (freeware) speed up A'LOT It
cut's file into 4 peaces and start 4 downloads. When downloading
StarOffice 5.1 in 7 files I received all 70 Mb on 3 (tree) minuttes.
Is it posible to do something like that when running Linux.
